WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a skilled ASHP Installer with a strong technical background in domestic renewable heating systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, commissioning, and maintaining Air Source Heat Pump systems, as well as associated upgrades such as cylinders, pipework, and controls. You’ll take pride in delivering high-quality, compliant installations in line with MCS, PAS 2030/35, and Building Regulations.
You will be proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused—capable of working independently or as part of a wider retrofit and renewables team. A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and clear communication with project managers, clients, and residents is essential to success in this role.
KEY RESPONSBILITIES
• Install, commission, and handover domestic ASHP systems.
• Carry out associated system upgrades (cylinders, pipework, controls).
• Ensure compliance with MCS standards, PAS 2030/35, and Building Regulations.
• Complete commissioning certificates, system documentation, and customer handovers.
• Work closely with project managers to deliver installs on time and to quality.
SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
• ASHP qualification – e.g., LCL/BPEC Level 3 Award in Heat Pump Systems.
• Unvented G3 certificate.
• WRAS – water regs
• Own van, calibrated tools, and valid UK driving licence.
• Public Liability Insurance.
• DBS (basic) may be required depending on project.
Desirable
• Experience under ECO4/GBIS/BUS frameworks.
• Knowledge of wiring centres and heating controls.
• F-Gas (advantageous, not essential).
