We are a leading property certification and installation company specialising in compliance, certification, heating, electrical installations, servicing & repairs and energy efficiency improvements.

We visit over 12,000 properties across the UK a month carrying out our services. This is split between a Business to Consumer (B2C) element working on behalf of landlords and homeowners directly and a Business to Business (B2B) model working with estate agents, housing associations, energy companies and other businesses.

We are expanding and have recently launched our Retrofit Division in the North West from our Preston office, focusing on bringing our strategic and operational expertise into the market, capitalising on both the private Able to Pay market and the government grant-funded market (Such as GBIS, ECO4, SHDF, LADS & HUGS).

The Role:

The role will be to support the installation teams in completing energy efficiency upgrades to domestic properties in the north west. Namely wiring of heating measures including Heat Pumps, Gas Boilers and ventilation (extractor fans/vents/PIV units etc), along with ad-hoc remedial works where required. The majority of the work will be covered under the scope of Minor works certification but some new installations will be required.

The role will consist of:

  • Wiring heat pumps, boilers and fans following on from installation teams

  • Liaising with office manager and install teams to ensure minimal disruption to customers

  • Carry out service repairs, fault finding, controls set up and commissioning.

  • Handing over the completed system to the client when set to work

  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements

  • Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards

Required skills:

  • 18th edition qualified electrician with at least NVQ3
  • 2391 Inspection & testing qualification
  • Experience in installing, testing and producing test results according to UK wiring regulations
  • Driving Licence (required)
  • Knowledge in Heating system controls
  • 2 years experience as an electrician
