We complete over 12,000+ property visits a month for a range of services including Gas Heating System Installations, Gas Appliance Servicing and Repairs, Electrical Safety Testing (EICRs), Electric Vehicle Charger Installations and energy surveys.

Established in 2013, with a head office in Beckenham (BR3) and northern office in Preston (PR2) , we have grown year-on-year to become a significant competitor for gas, electrical and energy works.

The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Domestic Gas Field Manager to oversee the safe and efficient delivery of gas services to residential customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and leading a team of technical engineers to deliver exceptional service to both the client and customer. This role is a mix of office and field based. Travel and overnight stays are required on occasion, depending on project location.

The role will consist of:

Oversee the daily operations of multiple contracts. including installation of smart thermostats, maintenance, and repairs of gas central heating systems.

Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to optimise service delivery and respond to customer inquiries promptly. Be on hand to deliver technical assistance to both office and field staff.

Team Leadership:

Lead and manage a team of gas technicians and assist support staff on delivery. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and customer service. Be responsible for vetting and onboarding new engineers, including inductions and setting expectations. Manage parts ordering process for contracts requiring parts to be purchased. Project management.

  • Safety and Compliance:

Ensure that all gas-related activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.

Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimise risks and accidents.

  • Customer Service:

Address customer concerns and ensure timely resolution of issues. Liaise with engineers to ensure best delivery for customers and clients alike.

  • Quality Assurance:

Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of service.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.

Optimising costs without compromising safety or service quality.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

  • Client Liaison:

Collaborate with Clients to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment.

Qualifications:

Core domestic gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1)

HTR1 , LPG, CKR1 preferred but not essential.

Required skills:

  • Proven experience in domestic gas operations and experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • In-depth knowledge of domestic gas systems, appliances, and safety regulations and extensive wiring knowledge
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Gas Safe Register certification is essential.

Package:

Working from our Beckenham office and out in the field, with overnight stays and nationwide travel when required.
