Eco Approach is a leading property certification & installation company specialising in compliance, certification, gas heating, electrical installations, servicing & repairs and energy efficiency improvements.

Eco Approach visits over 15,000 properties per month across the UK carrying out our services. This is split between a B2C element working on behalf of landlords and homeowners directly and a B2B model working with estate agents, housing associations, energy companies and other businesses that would require our services.

Eco Approach is rapidly expanding its Retrofit Division, focussed on bringing Eco Approach’s strategic and operational expertise into the market, capitalising on both the private and public sector funding schemes such as GBIS, ECO4, SHDF, LADS & HUGS.

The Role:

The successful candidate will hold overall responsibility for our internal lead generation for the retrofit division with the primary scheme being ECO4. Working with our existing and expanding database the candidate will be responsible for creating, implementing and managing a sales funnel process and building a team around them.

Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, the candidate will be expected to supply qualifying leads into the operations team ready to arrange installation of energy efficiency measures. The candidate will work to clear targets and KPIs and incentivised financially to deliver.

Candidates will require significant experience in a sales environment and of the ECO industry. The candidate will motivate and engage their team to deliver against operational targets, standards, policies & procedures and business strategy whilst working to continuously improve performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initially your main goal is to develop a lead generation strategy for the business. Create, implement and manage a process for nurturing a high volume of internally generated leads through a sales funnel through email and SMS marketing, telemarketing, direct mail and canvassing.
  • Qualifying potential leads based on property specifications and eligibility criteria of  the householder.
  • Collating eligibility documentation and making the required searches and checks.
  • Making decisions on potential finance routes for leads from ECO4, GBIS, Flex etc.
  • Managing all communication with the householder and landlords about the process and what they can expect along the customer journey.
  • Using management information and data, to recognise trends to support analysis of individual and team performance to quickly understand and address reasons for under or over performance and build into regular conversations and coaching with individuals.
  • Support the ongoing training and development of the departments team members and establish development plans.
  • Ensure delivery of Key Performance Indicators and the departments performance management framework is aligned with the businesses objectives.
  • Submit weekly reports to the Business Development Director and Head of Retrofit.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Experience Required

  • Significant experience in the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme.
  • Significant experience in a sales environment.
  • A strong understanding of Energy Performance Certificate data.
  • An understanding of different types of energy efficiency measures including; air source heat pumps, boilers, solar PV and insulation.
  • Must be competent on google platforms & Microsoft packages (Excel etc)
  • Strong management skills

Package:

  • Salary: £38k + Comission 
  • Performance related bonus: OTE £70,000
