Becoming carbon neutral

We have come a long way on our carbon neutral journey. And we still have some way to go.

Reducing our impact on the environment by working in harmony with the planet, is something we take seriously.

Whether we’re using renewable energy sources or driving a greener fleet, we are always seeking to reduce our footprint.

Initiatives

Our retrofitting division is helping meet government net zero targets by improving the energy efficiency of homes across the country.

We also ensure our projects limit environmental harm by working with clients and suppliers.

Our logistics are planned to reduce travelling and we support local suppliers and materials, where possible, to lower unnecessary air miles and travel.

Recycle, reduce and reuse

We also have a range of initiatives covering our recycling, reduce and reuse policies. These include some of the following:

  • Fitting electric vehicle charging points at our offices
  • Heating our buildings through air source heat pumps
  • Moving towards an all-electric fleet of vans
  • Waste management planning to stop waste going to landfill
  • Segregating waste materials for recycling
  • Purchasing 100% recyclable with minimum packaging
  • Reusing materials from old installations and obsolete parts
  • Refurbishing tools and batteries
