ECO Approach Ltd is a leading property certification & Installation company specialising in compliance, certification, gas heating, electrical installations, servicing & repairs and energy efficiency improvements.

ECO Approach visits over 10,000 properties per month across the UK carrying out our services. This is split between a B2C element working on behalf of landlords and homeowners directly and a B2B model working with estate agents, housing associations, energy companies and other businesses that would require our services.

ECO Approach is expanding its business activities through launching its Retrofit Division in the North West from our Preston office, focussed on bringing our strategic and operational expertise into the market, capitalising on both the private and public sector funding schemes.

The Role:

The successful applicant will join the Preston office as ‘ Senior Submission Administrator’. The candidate will support the Retrofit Department to ensure smooth and efficient handling of submissions for retrofit projects under ECO4, GBIS Schemes, HUGS, SHDF, et.al. By effectively managing the documentation, communication, and compliance aspects of the application process, the Senior Submission Administrator plays a critical role in maximising the company’s success in securing funding and incentives for energy-efficient retrofits.

Moreover, this role serves to maintain the company’s reputation for professionalism, reliability, and compliance with the schemes’ requirements. By ensuring that all projects meet the necessary criteria and are submitted accurately and on time, the Senior Submission Administrator contributes to the company’s commitment to sustainability, energy conservation, and overall customer satisfaction.

The role includes but is not limited to:

  • Analyse and prepare submissions paperwork, adhering to relevant guidance for each schemes such as OFGEM, ECO, GBIS, HUGS, PAS, Building Regulations.
  • Collect key information from customers, lead-generators, and installers to support funding applications.
  • Accurately input relevant information into internal databases and CRM systems.
  • Generate insurance guarantees/warranties for installed products on external portals.
  • Submit and upload documentation to supplier portals as required.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting internal and external monthly deadlines.
  • Handle email inquiries and manage shared email inboxes.
  • Perform general administration duties and fulfil ad hoc requests.
  • Feedback on all submission changes and industry developments to the Submission Deliver Manager, ensuring all departments know what is required from a submissions perspective.

  • Ensure all projects are submitted consistently, accurately and on target each week.
  • Provide weekly reports to the Submission Delivery manager and Head of Departments, highlighting weekly submission numbers, error reports and fails.
  • Compliance checking of customer eligibility, surveyor and installation paperwork
  • Experience using CRM, ECO Surv, CoreLogic and TrustMark is desirable but not essential as full training will be given

Package

  • Salary: £26,500 – £28,500 per year
  • Annual Leave: 20 days Annual leave + Bank Holidays
  • Job Type: Full time
  • Location: Preston
  • Shift Hours: Hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday (1 hour break)
  • Company Pension (Pension provider is NEST. 5% employee contribution and 3% company)
  • Monthly payment – Paid on the 27th of every month.

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)

ECO Submissions: 1 year (preferred)
