ECO Approach Ltd is a leading provider of property certification, compliance, and energy efficiency services, specializing in gas heating, electrical installations, servicing, and repairs. We serve over 10,000 properties monthly across the UK, working with homeowners, landlords, estate agents, housing associations, and energy companies.  

As we expand our Retrofit Division in the Northwest from our Preston office, we aim to bring our expertise to both private and public sector funding opportunities in the energy efficiency market. 
 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Qualified Supervisor to oversee the safety & compliance of a growing team of Electrical engineers working mainly on our internal electrical property services. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and ever-expanding business at a pivotal stage. For the right candidate, there will be future growth and development opportunities. 

As a field-based qualified supervisor, you will be responsible for the supervision of electrical work within the business. This includes ensuring all work is carried out in line with regulatory standards, technical support, health, safety & compliance, and team development. 

 

KEY RESPONSBILITIES. 

  • Validate, compile & sign off electrical certification 
  • Ensure the safe delivery of Electrical works within the business 
  • Conduct regular checks on engineers (e.g., Work in Progress, Post-Completion, Health & Safety Evaluations). 
  • Deliver toolbox talks and other training to maintain up-to-date knowledge within the team. 
  • Support in onboarding and inducting staff for contract-specific work. 

 

SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED 

  • QS Qualified  
  • 2+ years supervisory experience  
  • Technical understanding of Electrical Engineering  
  • Strong understanding of industry compliance, standards and health & safety. 
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills. 
  • A proactive mindset, with a willingness to embrace innovation and process improvement. 
  • Full UK driving licence. 

Location – Hybrid ( 1 day per week in Beckenham)

Hours – Monday – Friday 8-5

Salary – Up to £50,000

Contract Type – Permanent
