WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Domestic Heating Installations Manager to oversee and manage a growing team of installation engineers working on behalf of a major ‘Big Six’ energy company. With a team size of 15-20 installation engineers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and ever expanding business at a pivotal stage. For the right candidate there will be future growth and development opportunity.
As a field-based manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of our heating installations contract. This includes performance management, technical support, health & safety compliance, and team development.
KEY RESPONSBILITIES.
- Work to a defined set of KPIs to monitor and improve team performance.
- Ensure the successful delivery of the heating system installations contract
- Conduct regular checks on engineers (e.g., Work In Progress, Post-Completion, Health & Safety Evaluations).
- Deliver toolbox talks and other training to maintain up-to-date knowledge within the team.
- Liaise with our clients on daily operational matters.
- Dealing with customer complaints and getting a swift resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure recruitment targets and engineer numbers are met.
- Support in onboarding and inducting staff for contract-specific work.
SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Full UK drivers license
- Technical understanding of domestic heating.
- Previous experience in Managing a team predominantly made up of Contractors.
- Strong understanding of industry compliance, standards and health & safety.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
- A proactive mindset, with a willingness to embrace innovation and process improvement.
- Full UK driving licence.
