About the Role

We are looking for experienced and qualified Electricians to join our subcontract network, supporting installations across Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps, and Ventilation Systems. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, deliver high-quality work, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

You’ll work alongside established installation teams on domestic retrofit and renewable projects, ensuring safe and compliant electrical connections for low-carbon technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, wiring, and commissioning for:

• Solar PV systems (inverters, battery storage, AC/DC connections).

• ASHP systems (heat pump connections, wiring centres, controls).

• Ventilation units (MVHR, MEV, extract systems).

• Complete all relevant testing and certification to NICEIC / equivalent standards.

• Work closely with installers and site managers to deliver projects on time.

• Ensure compliance with BS 7671 (18th Edition) and MCS regulations.

• Maintain health & safety standards on all projects.

• Provide a professional and reliable service, representing both yourself and Rock Recruitment.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

• 2391/2394-95 Inspection & Testing (preferred).

• AM2

• Part P CPS

• Solar Qualification

• EESS – Battery Storage

• Valid ECS / JIB Gold Card.

• Proven experience in at least one of the following:

• Knowledge of Heat pump connections.

• Ventilation system installations.

• Own tools, calibrated test equipment, van, and insurances.

• Willingness to travel to various sites.
