WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Loft Insulation Installer with experience working on domestic retrofit projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of insulation techniques and compliance standards, particularly within ECO4, GBIS, and PAS 2030 frameworks. You’ll take pride in delivering high-quality installations that improve energy efficiency, comfort, and safety for residents.
You’ll be self-motivated, organised, and capable of working independently while maintaining clear communication with site supervisors and project managers. A strong focus on health and safety, attention to detail, and professionalism on-site are essential, ensuring every installation is completed to specification and to the highest standard.
KEY RESPONSBILITIES
• Install loft insulation materials to domestic properties, following specifications and compliance standards.
• Carry out pre-install checks, including assessing loft access, ventilation, and existing insulation levels.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and site cleanliness.
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
• Provide photo evidence and documentation for compliance purposes.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors, homeowners, and project managers.
SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
• Proven experience in loft insulation installation (ECO4/GBIS experience desirable).
• Knowledge of PAS 2030 installation standards.
• Valid CSCS card (preferred).
• Own van and tools (essential).
• Public liability insurance.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
