WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking experienced Solar Electricians (subcontractors) or small installation teams to join our growing renewable energy division. You will work on a variety of domestic and commercial solar PV installations, contributing to our mission of making properties across the UK greener and more energy efficient.

This role is ideal for skilled professionals or small teams who are self-motivated, safety-conscious, and experienced in delivering high-quality solar installations.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES

  • Install, maintain, and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out electrical connections for solar panels, inverters, and associated systems in compliance with UK electrical regulations.
  • Conduct site surveys and assess installation requirements.
  • Test and commission completed solar systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues to project managers.
  • Work collaboratively with Eco Approach teams and other subcontractors on-site.
  • Ensure all work meets company quality standards and health & safety regulations.

SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with experience in solar PV installations.
  • Strong understanding of UK wiring regulations and electrical safety standards.
  • Experience with domestic and commercial solar systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Own tools and transportation.
  • CSCS card and relevant health & safety training preferred.
