WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a skilled and qualified Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) Installer to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in delivering low-carbon heating solutions to domestic and small commercial clients, supporting the transition to sustainable energy sources.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience installing and maintaining ASHP systems, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install ASHP systems in domestic and small commercial properties.

• Conduct site surveys to assess suitability and ensure accurate system design.

• Design, plan, and lay out pipework and components for optimal performance.

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, and servicing of ASHP systems.

• Ensure all work complies with building regulations, MCS standards, and safety requirements.

• Deliver excellent customer service and provide clear handover guidance to clients.

• Collaborate with colleagues to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.

• Keep up to date with industry developments, regulations, and renewable technologies.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Required:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in ASHP installation or similar heating technologies.

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent).

• Level 3 Award in the Installation & Maintenance of Air Source Heat Pump Systems.

• WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) certification.

• CSCS Card.

• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work away from home when required.

Desirable:

• F-Gas qualification and/or Refrigeration Handling certification.

• Low Temperature Heating & Hot Water Design qualification.

• Knowledge of heat loss calculations and system design principles.
