As we expand our Retrofit Division in the Northwest from our Preston office, we aim to bring our expertise to both private and public sector funding opportunities in the energy efficiency market.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Domestic Heating Installations Manager to oversee and manage a growing team of installation engineers working on behalf of a major ‘Big Six’ energy company. With a team size of 15-20 installation engineers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and ever expanding business at a pivotal stage. For the right candidate there will be future growth and development opportunity.
As a field-based manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of our heating installations contract. This includes performance management, technical support, health & safety compliance, and team development.
KEY RESPONSBILITIES.
● Work to a defined set of KPIs to monitor and improve team performance.
● Ensure the successful delivery of the heating system installations contract
● Conduct regular checks on engineers (e.g., Work In Progress, Post-Completion, Health & Safety Evaluations).
● Deliver toolbox talks and other training to maintain up-to-date knowledge within the team.
● Liaise with our clients on daily operational matters.
● Dealing with customer complaints and getting a swift resolution.
● Collaborate with internal teams to ensure recruitment targets and engineer numbers are met.
● Support in onboarding and inducting staff for contract-specific work.
SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
· Full UK drivers license
· Technical understanding of domestic heating.
· Previous experience in Managing a team predominantly made up of Contractors.
· Strong understanding of industry compliance, standards and health & safety.
· Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
· A proactive mindset, with a willingness to embrace innovation and process improvement.
· Full UK driving licence.
