WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and effective cash flow management across Eco Approach, with oversight support for Recruitment Capital.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, improving processes, and providing clear financial insight to support operational decision-making and continued growth.
KEY RESPONSBILITIES
- Lead and manage the finance and payroll team
- Own monthly management accounts production, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Implement, improve, and maintain robust financial control systems and processes
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, statutory reporting, and audit requirements
- Partner with sales and operations teams to support margin tracking and cost control
- Monitor, assess, and mitigate financial risks
- Support senior leadership with accurate financial analysis and performance insights
SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, controls, cash flow management, and margin analysis
- Experience preparing management accounts and supporting audits
- Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel user
- Strong attention to detail and a process-improvement mindset
- Confident communicator able to work cross-functionally
- Experience in a fast-paced, operational business environment
