This Demand Response (DR) reduces strain on the grid, cuts reliance on expensive fossil fuel power plants, and delivers savings (up to 15% on average) to users.
With over 1.5 million connected devices across Europe, Voltalis is now rapidly expanding across the UK.
Voltalis needed a trusted installation partner for large-scale deployment of its smart devices across a number of sites in the UK.
The project kicked off with a major university in London. 832 Voltalis units need to be connected to individual electric heaters in student rooms and communal areas.

Real-Time Progress Tracking: We provided Voltalis with a daily progress dashboard. This allowed for immediate troubleshooting of any access or connectivity issues, preventing bottlenecks.

We successfully completed the installation of 832 Voltalis smart units in exactly four weeks. The campus was ready for student check-in with zero installation overlap or disruption.
The 832 connected devices were immediately incorporated into the Voltalis Virtual Power Plant (VPP), giving the university access to substantial energy savings and supporting the UK’s energy grid stability.
