Golding Homes Retrofit Programme

We are proud to announce that we have been officially appointed by Golding Homes to deliver a major energy efficiency and retrofit programme.

Golding Homes manages around 8,500 properties and provides homes to more than 20,000 people across Kent.

The contract marks the beginning of a three-year partnership, with an option to extend. This long-term commitment lets us support Golding Homes’ mission to provide sustainable, warm, and future-proofed housing for their residents.

A Full-Service Retrofit Solution

Our goal is to drive down energy bills and carbon footprints through high-quality installations, including:

  • Insulation: Loft insulation, cavity wall extraction and refill, and External Wall Insulation (EWI).
  • Renewables: Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) and solar.
  • Efficiency: Energy-saving lighting upgrades.
  • Compliance: Full Retrofit Coordination and post-works EPCs to ensure every home meets the highest standards.

Commitment to Quality and Safety

All works undertaken will meet:

  • PAS 2035: The gold standard for high-quality domestic retrofit.
  • MCS Standards: Ensuring renewable technology is fitted to peak performance.
  • Building Regulations (Part L): Meeting the latest thermal and power requirements.
  • Fire Safety Act 2021: Prioritising resident safety in every installation.

Social Value at the Core

We believe “green” should also mean “good for the community.” We’ll deliver real benefits to Golding Homes’ residents and local neighborhoods—without adding extra costs to the project. From local job creation to community support, our work is designed to leave a lasting legacy.

Looking Ahead

“This partnership with Golding Homes is a significant milestone for Eco Approach. By combining Retrofit Coordination with hands-on installation, we are providing a seamless path to Net Zero for social housing providers.”

Michael Morrall – Net Zero Director

We’ve already “broken ground” and are looking forward to making a difference in the comfort and quality of residents’ homes and lives in the years to come.
