Greater Manchester Good Landlords’ Charter

We are proud to announce that we are an approved delivery partner for the Greater Manchester Good Landlord Charter.

Led by Mayor Andy Burnham, the Charter is designed to raise the standard of renting across Greater Manchester. By becoming a Charter Supporter or Member, landlords get access to the Warm Homes: Local Grant—funding specifically designed to tackle fuel poverty and carbon emissions.

There is £30,000 available in funding, per property, for eligible landlords to upgrade their properties energy efficiency.

With the UK’s property landscape changing, landlords are under pressure to hit EPC C ratings or higher by 2030. The benefits of joining the Charter for landlords are:

  • Access up to £30,000 per property for retrofits.
  • Upgrade at zero cost to tenants (tenants never pay for the improvements).
  • A future-proof investment with high-spec solar, heat pumps, and insulation.

“We are proud to back the Greater Manchester Good Landlord Charter. The more landlords we help access the grant, the more homes we make warm and fit for the future. We’re ready to get started”.

— Jamie Crane, Business Development Director, Eco Approach

Navigating government grants and technical standards can be a headache. Under the Charter, we’ll provide a complete turnkey service for landlords.

We can manage the entire lifecycle of the project:

  • Compliance: As PAS 2035 and MCS accredited installers, we ensure every job meets the highest standards.
  • Strategy: We help Landlords identify which properties are eligible for funding.
  • Delivery: Our field teams handle the installation with speed and respect for tenants.

If you are a landlord or social housing provider in Greater Manchester, we would love to hear from you.
